Hi, I haven’t posted in a while and just wanted to say all is well at Classic Hits 94.1.

I did have today (the day after Thanksgiving) off from work and I did a little shopping. I called in for a break with my buddy Steve Conley. Like I told him, I’m not sure how much folks were buying, but at least there sure were a lot looking. Quite the shopping day!! Every store I went to was jammed and the stores were ready for the crowds. And just for the record, I did my part for the economy and shopped plenty!!! Now that Thanksgiving is over, it’s really time get serious with the shopping.

All my neighbors have their outside holiday lights up. Not the Perrin family yet. Soon though….in a day or two I guess. :)

Have a great day,

K

If all the stores have Christmas decorations up, why shouldn’t I put my stuff out at home…TODAY!!

Sure, it’s not even Thanksgiving, but why not milk it like the stores do? That way, the house would be decorated for Thanksgiving dinner, and I would not spend that whole weekend digging holiday decorations out of the attic. You see, I just haven’t argued enough with my husband yet this month and decorating the tree always puts us on each others last nerve. But then, each year when we are done, as we place the last ornament on the tree, we stand in awe of our accomplishment. That’s when we bask in the glow of all the Christmas lights we so painstakingly hung for the 2 hours prior.  And at least for that one moment, we sit silently in agreement (for a change) that all is right with the world.

Okay, so everyone knows those people at work….the ones who you are not quite sure what they do. Oh, they get paid but you don’t know their job title or what keeps them occupied for hours on end. Is it spider solitaire? Is it freecell? Or is it a myriad of games that they have downloaded on company time. You know the ones. My point is this……someone at my work was soooooooooooo bored or in need of self amusement, they created this picture………….

Aren’t computers wonderful things? No telling what they will come up with at Christmas. :)
