So I’m getting excited because in less than a week, I’ll be taking my portable radio studio/microphone on the road so I can be in St. Louis for Opening Day. It’s not secret I’m a lifelong Cardinal fan, having grown up in the midst of Cardinal Nation (Mount Olive, Illinois). But I’m hoping the weather gets a little better around St. Louis. Here it is today from my folks house….

Seriously, it should be fun regardless. I’m hoping it doesn’t snow, because my dad will not let me live it down. There’s a little history with me and big events. 5 years ago when I took my wife Stacy and my dad to Bristol for the Nascar race… it snowed in the pits. If it snows on opening day, there will be hell to pay.
